Description
We’re looking for a DevOps professional experienced in the following areas:
- Shell / Bash scripting
- Linux server administration
- WordPress administration
- Installation/maintenance/administration of open-source web servers & tools like WordPress, Nginx, Apache, PHP, MySql, and MariaDB on Linux.
On the non-technical side, a good level of English is also important.
You’re going to be working on existing servers and infrastructure. We’re primarily running a WordPress installation, and secondarily, a number of other systems – stagings, QA envs, JIRAs, etc.
Budget and Time Commitment
The rate for the role is 23$/h, and the time commitment is 8-10 hours/week.
We’re a remote-first team and have always been so – basically, you’ll work and communicate entirely async and self-guided.
Getting Started
The first step will be an evaluation process which consists of a few sample tasks estimated at 6h of work. The evaluation will, naturally, be fully paid at the standard rate of the job.
Then, if all goes well, we’ll go forward with a longer-term engagement.
