I run Twelve Oaks Software; a bespoke software agency in York, UK. While our focus isn't exclusively Java, both Java and Kotlin are a major component of our day-to-day work: Creating Android and iOS mobile apps as well as backend systems that run them. I was recently Visting Lecturer at York St John University, where I thoroughly enjoyed helping more people learn about Java which lead me to engaging with Baeldung to support a continually high level of Java resources available to anyone with the desire to learn.
